The FlyPharma Conference Europe 2019 offered an exciting chance to see Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in action: delegates went behind the scenes with a site tour on Day 2 of the conference (23 October).
During the tour, delegates saw first-hand how CPH and its operators have equipped themselves to provide efficient and high-standard pharmaceutical handling processes for their customers. The tour also gave delegates a better understanding of the ‘end-to-end’ handling process of pharmaceutical products. This was a valuable opportunity to gain a VIP pass inside CPH’s pharma cargo facilities!
The tour began with a bus tour of the airport and a roundtrip of CPH’s cargo area, giving FlyPharma delegates an overview of the current facilities where all cargo-related business was located.
We then made a stop at WFS’s new established pharma space, and then a short stop at Spirit Air Cargo Handling’s facility to show delegates how they handled pharma cargo in general.
