With 25 years of Air Cargo experience, in charge of standards and procedures, first as a Ground Handling instructor for airside and landside operations and then for an all-cargo carrier, he joined IATA in 2014, based in Geneva.
In charge of the Air Cargo Governance through the Cargo Service Conference (CSC), he developed operational standards for global consistency and harmonization, optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring safety, security, and sustainability in operations.
Andre also looks after operational efficiency and excellence in logistics for the Air Cargo and Air Mail supply chain, particularly in e-commerce logistics to help the industry capitalize on this market trend, promote stronger industry coordination, transform processes to speed up flows, and how to embrace new technologies that will ensure greater visibility, transparency, and efficiency.
