Floris de Haan

Senior Aviation Researcher, Erasmus University

   

As a senior aviation researcher at Erasmus University, Floris de Haan focuses on complex issues facing the aviation sector. Next to education, he advises governments, airlines, and airports, amongst others. His specialties include air cargo, network development, and economic impact studies. In the past Floris has worked for KLM, where he was responsible for maximising the revenue of KLM’s passenger network. At Schiphol Group, he was in charge of setting airport charges. Consequently he developed Schiphol’s air cargo hub by attracting cargo airlines and freight forwarders to the airport.
