Frank is active in different industries related to healthcare and supply chain for Life Science and MEDTech Industries. He guides different projects related to critical supply chains, IT/AI Health and Supply Chain applications and health care educational projects.
With a background in critical patient care for 18 years, and specifically active in clinical organ, tissue & cell transplantation and research, and a 10-year experience as executive director in critical logistics, Frank is currently involved in projects and programs of end-to-end critical life science supply chain and innovative health care.
He has more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific medical articles, more than 200 invited lectures and holds different executive positions and roles. He is a guest professor in numerous academic programs such as the University of Antwerp, the Antwerp Management School, the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences and the ISCN (Interactive Supply Chain Network) Catholic University of Leuven. He is the co-founder and co-chair of the International Pharma Logistics Masterclass, “Where Business meets Academics”.
He is hobby astronomer and follows on a regular basis courses in astronomy and astrophysics. Above all, he is a strong believer of bringing people of different backgrounds together, out of their comfort zone, as this leads to disruptive and innovative approaches in which through sharing knowledge and experience, every problem has a solution.
