The FlyPharma Conference Europe will welcome Mr Florian Tursky, the Austrian State Secretary, to speak at FlyPharma Europe 2023. Mr Tursky will address the audience at the start of the conference and discuss the pharma logistics industry’s key strengths and current challenges.
Having studied press relations and integrated communication in Krems, Austria, Florian Tursky gained experience in the private sector as Regional Manager for Vienna of P8 Marketing, as well as CEO of 3D Elements. He returned into politics as Press Officer of Governor Günther Platter, later becoming his Office Manager.
As State Secretary for Digitalization in the Ministry of Finance, Florian Tursky will reveal the Austrian government’s support of the cargo community in Vienna: Vienna AirportCity has invested heavily in its pharmaceutical handling facilities, and the government recognises its potential to increase business in Austria and build local expertise within this critical market.
Due to the war in Ukraine, the government has implemented stricter handling regulations for cargo shipments, echoing the response of governments worldwide and the current pressures on the industry. The impact of these regulations will also be discussed at FlyPharma.
Wolfgang Scheibenpflug is the Senior Vice President Real Estate and Landside Management of Vienna Airport. With over 30 years of experience in real estate and airport management, Scheibenpflug has led the landside development of Vienna Airport into one of the most successful Airport Cities in Europe. He has also been a key figure in the implementation of sustainable practices and innovative technologies in real estate developments.. Regarding State Secretary Florian Tursky’s appearance at FlyPharma, he said:
