Craig Lane is the Assistant Director of Application and Technical Services in the Pharmacy Department at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. With more than 24 years of experience at Texas Children’s, Craig has led numerous innovation and technology initiatives, including the implementation of pharmacy automation and robotic systems, enterprise software solutions, multiple Epic Pharmacy modules, and RFID programs across multiple campuses—with a particular focus on high-cost medications at the Houston Medical Center.

Craig’s work centers on leveraging technology to enhance interoperability, improve patient safety, reduce medication waste, expand anesthesia medication access, and increase inventory visibility. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Computer Information Systems Management from Houston Christian University and a master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University.
