Geert Leroy has been working in supply chain management for more than 26 years in various industries, of which the last 14 years have been in the temperature-controlled healthcare supply chain. His experience in healthcare finds its origin in his position as Healthcare Compliance and Quality Manager with Yusen Logistics Benelux and reaches from transforming an automotive warehouse into a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical warehouse, setting up a European distribution network: an ocean freight cross-dock hub with CEIV certification in 2016.
Geert founded the consulting company Eureachi BV in 2009 and Global Pharma Solutions in 2020 and is specialized in cold chain management by offering his experience in temperature-controlled warehousing and transportation by air, ocean and road to support healthcare-related companies.
His analytical “out of the box” approach, holding a Master’s degree of Supply Chain Management at Vlerick Management School and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, together with his experience in Kaizen, Lean and continuous improvement, makes him a great asset to any company.
Geert also worked on various projects to improve the worldwide collaboration and digitalization of the pharmaceutical supply chain for Pharma.Aero.
As a pharma and cold chain logistics expert, he is also an IATA CEIV Independent Validator and IATA External instructor for the CEIV program.
He is also a strong believer of education and training, which are the foundations for solid and smooth operations in all industries.
