Michael Hovgaard Poulsen brings extensive leadership experience in time-critical logistics, with a career spanning senior roles at DHL Express, Jetpak, and Blue Water Shipping.
Since 2020, Michael has served as Country Manager for World Courier, overseeing premium clinical trial logistics and cold chain solutions, as well as specialized handcarry and air charter services for the emergency parts sector.
Prior to this, he was Division Manager for Road at Blue Water Shipping, where he helped implement a new product-based business model and held strategic responsibility for re-establishing the Road division across four Danish locations.
Michael was as Country Manager at Jetpak Denmark A/S, Michael led operational development and productivity improvements, managing a team of 18 across sales, customer service, and operations, while also establishing a franchise distribution network.
At DHL Express Michael served as Commercial Director and Area Operations Manager, where he managed pricing strategy, product development, and a Zealand distribution network of over 110 routes with a budget of 135M DKK.
